TEN MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE EASILY

1 GIVEN UP EASILY.

Giving up easily is one big mistake that people make too often. This is one big mistake anybody will make in life in John 21:3 KJV. The bible said. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. 

Now after Jesus ascended Peter gave up easily on the work that Jesus committed into his hand. in Matthew 16:18 KJV. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 

Knowing very well that Jesus had committed a work in his hand, he left the work and said I will go fishing! That means he gave up easily because the master was not around. Giving up easily makes you work outside your purpose. That can also mean you are ready to struggle like Peter did struggle, he labored all night without catching any fish until Jesus came to their rescue. 

I pray for you this year you will not struggle with things that will make you struggle in life and not give up easily in Jesus name,  you will have evidence of service to God in your life in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

2 LOVE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH TO SUSTAIN A RELATIONSHIP.

In any relationship love is very important. But beyond love, you need to be guided with wisdom according to Proverbs 4:7-9 KJV. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. [8] Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. [9] She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Wisdom in a simple definition is the ability to make a decision. (Common sense)

Give yourself good counsel, we make mistakes when we listen to people who have failed in this regard and have given up in life without hope of the  are whom many take their counsel. like they say! When the blind lead the blind they both fall into the pit. I can teach you this bible because it works for me and for many others across the globe. You must be guided with the right mindset ( the right information or counsel from the right source) if things must get better for you, even in the worst situation. Be positive, positive thinking attracts positive energy (spirit) don't look down on yourself or look down on anybody. Be focused.

3 SCHOOLING ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU GREAT

Daniel discovered through the book, according to Daniel 9:2 KJV. The Bible said. In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

A lot of secrets are hidden inside the book. Those secrets are not taught in school. You must discover them by yourself. Thank God we are in the era of Android phones.

4 STOP BLAMING YOUR PARENTS FOR YOUR MISFORTUNES

God may have planted you in your family for the purpose of  making you the Moses of your family, what you need at all times is being focused and being positive in your mindset. Go ahead and discover your purpose, that is if you do not know whom you are. you don't need a prophet for this, just study your flairs.  

The mistakes we often make is that we surround ourselves with the wrong minds who can tell you the latest movies in town and not the trending business in town. I do not have the results I wanted today, that is not my parents fault! It was my foolishness, because I did not know my purpose in life.

5 DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON TRIVIA THINGS

 

Spending on insignificant items or worthless things, especially items of less importance that do not add value to you critically.

The mistake we make most often is that we are  not critical when buying anything. Ask yourself what is the value of this thing I just bought, of what value do I need these items for, it will help you save for an important future. You must understand the difference between needs and wants.

6 MOST PEOPLE DON'T SAVE MONEY

Saving is a culture that one needs to build, especially for young people. The best way to save money is to invest the money on something and not hiding or storing it at the bank. That is another heavy duty mistake we often make. In Matthew 25:18 KJV. But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

The man who received one talent kept his money at the bank for safekeeping and when the master came and asked him to declare his assets, he went to the bank and withdrew the money lo and behold it did not add any profitable value, but others invested their money and came back with a great fortunes of profits. I advise  you to save your money by investing your money on shares and other means of investment.

7 INVESTING WITHOUT RESEARCH

Now you don't just invest because people are investing, the Bible declares in Luke 14:28 KJV. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he has sufficient to finish it ?

That means, do a research or you must do a research about the investment you are about to put your money into, and before putting in money or putting money into it. you must not forget to pray along for directions. 

Recently I got a landed property suitable for our worship center. I contacted the agent in charge and we discussed it so I went on to pray. God told me to forget about the deal, I discovered later that it was fraud. The mistake many of us make is that we don't have time to investigate anything. We are always in a hurry, no time to pray and when we pray we don't wait for God's direction.  You must pray to get direction. God still speaks to people if you have a relationship with him and tarry in his presence.

8) AVOID INSTANT GRATIFICATION.

Let's define gratification first: what is gratification? This is the act of pleasing either the mind, the taste or the appetite. A feeling of pleasure. A reward, a gratuity. In other words, give me instant reward syndrome. 

My advice. Most times your labor does not bring or lead to reward immediately, but you can gather your reward as testimony toward a bigger picture of your future or for your future, or the expected future of your business. 

So don't always put money forward when doing anything, let your passion and integrity 

speak for you. allow your labor or product gain publicity for free, that is why many companies do promos and give out freebies to allow the product to gather testimony. 

Don't always look for the gratuity first, look for the publicity and all you have put in will come like a surprise someday. Don't look at what you are putting into the system, see them as a training ground for the perfection of your future. 

Don't be in a hurry to be great, elephants, don't pray to be big, by nature they are big, you are a great person just go do something within your purpose in life and be obedient to God's commands, you will get there. Be in a hurry to get proof, evidence and facts about what people are saying concerning you. 

That is the power of  evaluation, Jesus did it in Matthew 16:13 KJV. He said. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Be quick to know how your product or conduct is rated in the public, this will help you to make your projection for your future excellence. Shalom

9) DO NOT TRY TO PLEASE EVERYBODY

It is a fat error to try to please everybody. All you need to know is the HOW and WHEN to draw the lines. Many of us today do things that we are not supposed to do, or do not know how to do what is required of us just because we want to create an impression to please somebody that we are a good person?

Don't allow anyone to make you feel you are a good person or a bad person. consistently evaluate  yourself. Get mentorship and study the Bible, read other books that will help you discover more about yourself and your personal disposition. 

If you live your life to please anyone, you will enslave yourself to people and your self-worth will be denied you. If care is not taken, inferiority will set into your life and your electricity will be turned off. By that I mean your zeal or your enthusiasm, that is your inner power that makes you feel valuable, will be turned off. We must be careful. 

People who have lived with uncles & aunts are most victims; they have suffered these pains and errors in their lives. What leads to this in most cases are 1) Too much advice, too much advice can take away your inner power and turn off your electricity. 2) Shouting and barking at kids can make them lose their self worth in the future. 3) Being too moral is an error, compare Ecclesiastes 7:16 KJV. The bible said. Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself? Do not be over moral otherwise you will destroy yourself and also destroy the future of others around you. 4) Beating a child often without cause or for errors especially when the child admitted to an error would make them grow up to lose value in themselves and want to please everybody that gives them peanuts because a seed of fear has been driven and planted into their mind that takes away their self worth.

10) DO NOT ACCEPT EVERYTHING YOU HEAR OR BELIEVE EVERYTHING DO YOUR RESEARCH

When I was growing up as a believer, I heard many things that today I know are false but at that stage I believed them. In those days we preached to people and people came to preach to us. 

We only preach what our pastor told us even when we have our Bible in our hand. The Jehovah witness brothers came to preach to us and said there is no rapture in the Bible there is no Christmas in the bible we argue it because we believed what our pastor said, but we feel no need to do our research so we were mocked and laughed at and we feel bad and concluded that the Jehovah witness brothers where preaching heresy. 

So we avoided them as friends in the street, we do not study the bible even though we have the Bible in our hands! So when the Jehovah witness brothers threw the challenges to me, I started reading the Bible, but very soon I stopped because I felt there was no meaning in this and very soon, I found that reading will not help me but study the Bible. What the Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV. Is! Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

So I started studying the Bible and I came to discover many errors that are preached today that even our heavy-duty fathers of faith make those errors willfully even till now, but that is not what I want to pass across to you in this subject.

What I want you to do is to find the true meaning of what you have known over the years and what you know that has not changed your life or given you results. It is said that if you do one thing overtime and you are getting the same result not according to what you wanted, but the same old result changed it. 

Because, most times, all those that you look up to and you believed cannot do or make such errors have actually lied to you and you don't know it.  why because as an African, you don't question the sanity of what elders say or do.

I know that is Africa mentality young people do not have right to question what the old man does, so we repeat again and again the same old errors.

My advice! you must be able to do things in different ways. A teacher once told me how that Lucifer was the choir master in heaven before God drove him out of heaven and he uses the word "the Bible said" yet we all believed it but you can never find it in the Bible where Lucifer rebel against God and God  drove him out of heaven, and he concluded that Lucifer  was a choir master in heaven. if you find it let me know please. 

Don't believe everything you hear! Don't accept everything you hear and don't believe everything. it may not be a good title, but it gives you the ability to question what you are accepting, and what you are hearing and what you are believing! do a critical study on what you accept what you hear and what you believe God bless you
