CORRUPTION AND CHRISTIANITY IN NIGERIA


I watched a video where the former Nigeria Minister of finance under former president GEJ governments was telling some kids how her mother was kidnapped because she was fighting fuel subsidy corruption! Truth be told, I can never believe the honesty of the kinds of persons like the former Minister of finance under President GEJ.  


Tell me that they find corruption or fraud in the subsidy bill given to the GEJ regime! Why not remove the corruption? And do the right thing as an honest horizon of doing the right thing and as a Christian, yet you people went ahead to sign and implement a corrupt bill. ( Let me ask, can a stone you see hit your eyes?) Now tell me that the GEJ government itself was not corrupt by nature? Madam, why did you not even resign like you did when you worked with president OBJ as it was very open to know that the GEJ government was very corrupt and weak in leadership.  


Madam, how far for sure-p. The Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Program known as 'SURE-P' Introduced by the saint governments you served that was fighting corruption like you told those kids in that university. Madam, since you were so patriotic to the Nigerian system like you make everyone believe in that video, that it was the subsidy clean up move that made those kidnappers kidnap your aged mother?

( I like to remind you that one key breeder of societal criminals remains injustice, it is the absence of justice that create criminality) Now why did you not persuade president GEJ to build an oil refinery in Nigeria with all the money President OBJ left behind and the one you people borrowed huuuum. Can you not borrow money to build oil refineries in Nigeria as the finance minister? How about remittance from NNPC through the ministry of finance to the Nigeria Central Bank that ended the term of the CBN governor Alhaji Lamido Sanusi in office? Is that not a direct corruption from your ministry of finance?


Anyway I beg everyone to stay calm. I Haven't concluded yet on president Tinubu's government, but my prayer is that good or bad it will favor us in Jesus name. But if it is here to stay! hey, it means God wants to chasten the Nigerian christian churches, mark my word. but, i pray God should have mercy on us christian because we have disappointed the trust God have for us.


I know many will ask why are you talking like this. Just tell me how our Christianity have affected the system called Nigeria? The richest Pastor in the world is a Nigerian and he lives in Nigeria. The biggest church auditorium worldwide is in Nigeria own by a Nigerian Pastor. The largest church camp ground worldwide is in Nigeria owned by a Nigerian, the same minister I refer to above is a Christian. 


Every Sunday services in Nigerian churches are full, some even have more than two services and mass, yet with the glory of the Nigerian Church corruption in Nigeria is over high compared to countries that do not have half of the churches in Nigeria and pray the way the Nigerian Christian churches prayed.  


In Isaiah 11 verse 2. talk about the spirit of wisdom etc, these were the spirit force that enabled Jesus lead and become an emulated and exemplified leader of Christianity including the fear of God was in him. The day you accept Jesus as your lord and savior, every gift of the spirit found in Jesus Christ automatically comes on that believer of Christ. That is why those who truly study the Holy Bible are exceptionally knowledgeable, but the Nigerian Christian do not fear God nor have the fear of God in them. 


May God help us. The Holy Bible said in 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Nigerian christian can pray but refuse to turn from their wicked ways. That is why a Christian will ask for forgiveness of sin while going to bed at night and  pray the same prayer of forgiveness of sin when they wake up from sleep in the morning every day, a Nigerian Christian can steal what will develop humanity and the nation they go and ask God for forgiveness of sin, the Nigerian Christian will cause pains in the heart of their neighbors they will go and ask God to forgive them instead of the person they offend. The question is what happens to repentance? When will you repent?
