YOUR LIGHT

Every light in this world has a source, and God is the light. Every light has its source from God. Either by spiritual generation, it could be by scientific generation. Let me establish here why we should not fail. 1) if the light goes off in your house, it could mean that there may have been a fault on the mains supply. All you do is trace the fault using a technician. 

2) if there has been no light at all, that could mean there are no wiring connections that will generate light. 

3) if there is a wiring connection and still no light, it means no power from anywhere. Now let's read the scripture John 9 verse 1 to 4. The disciples of Jesus saw a man blind from birth and gossiped. However, their conversation reveals that, when a man is mentally rich, he sees and handles an obstacle as an opportunity. While a man with poor mental thinking and reasoning sees an obstacle as 

(1) a time of mockery, they mock the situation. 

(2) a time to complain 

(3) An opportunity to crave sympathy and (4) A time to blame other people.

 

The difference between the two is what they spent their time on, I mean what they allow to be part of them. Jesus said it is not his parents that sin, but that God's plan is to glorify his works on the earth.

 

The man with a rich mentality sees the blind man as an opportunity, while the man with poor mentality sees an avenue to make stories and gossip. Put the rich and the poor in one class, you soon find that while the rich are learning, the poor (mentality) are making noise somewhere.

 

Jesus said I must work while it is day. John 9 verse 4. Working during the day means I must use my energies while I am still strong. The night season in our lives is that time we are tired of work and we need to rest.

 

May we not be found working while we ought to rest in the name of Jesus Christ.

There are questions we constantly need to ask ourselves while alive

(1) AM I LIVING IN SIN? 

PRO.14 VERSE 33 TO 35. IT IS YOU AND ME THAT MAKE UP A NATION. 

(2) DO I LACK PREPARATION? 

John 21 VERSE 3. THIS SAME PETER WAS TOLD BY JESUS “ON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH” 

HE DID NOT PREPARE HIMSELF. HOW RESPONSIBLE I AM. as long as you don’t want to be blamed, you don’t care what happens to the system. taking responsibility over issues will put you ahead of others

Three key prayers for righteous life. 

(1) father give me grace to be desperate for righteousness 

(2) father give me grave to be passionate to assist people where help is needed 

(3) father gives me grace to become compassionate to work when I have the privilege.
